bill I don't have this problem, but how about uninstalling it by going to settings/system setting/apps then uninstall the maxisys app  that will remove the last update.every tool is different yours may have gotten corrupted on the last update.also logging to pro.autel.com then go to software and click on your product there you will see your serial number and it should say update available, you can also do it from your tool.if none of this fixes your problem try  re registering your tool,it should say product already registered and it resets your tool then try to update again error should be gone,if none of these fixes your problem contact support by phone or email they will fix it for you good luck.

I updated my Maxisys to 1.20 now it keeps crashing almost every time I try to scan a vehicle. I already tried a system restore, it didn't work, is there a way to downgrade or reinstall 1.20?

I hope Autel comes up with another system update soon, as 1.20 screwed up my Maxisys.

when i go  to apps       i dont see  where it says  to delete   only  says  to stop maxisys  app.

try clearing the cache:    setting-apps-all(tab)-(scroll to maxisys)click...clear cache...reboot      seems to help my issues

also if you connect the vci unir via usb cord..you can update that to in the vci tab at bottom (underspacebar)..
